This piece provides more context for the Tiny Dataset project. In this instance, the genetic algorithm pulled from the octagon and triangle parts of all 500+ circuits at the core of the Athena Dataset. The outcome is undesirable, the stars clearly lack the sensibility of the original human-artist made stars. The Tiny Dataset project works with much smaller datasets with better (more human-like) results.
